|Wine: Lucinda Estate Premium Pinot Noir 2015|
|Variety: Pinot Noir|
|Tasting Note: A beautiful nose of black cherries and white pepper. There is a hint of stemminess but not a bad thing, that would be down to the 50% whole bunch maceration.
On the palate it is really good with lots of complexity – one of those wines that is “think-worthy”. You will have a glass of this and b sniffing and tasting it an hour later wondering what else you can get from it. The palate develops lots of fruit, there are red cherries, black cherries and sour cherries (hallmark of a good Pinot) some herbal notes and a late hint of spiciness. Very soft integrated acids and ridiculously fine tannins. Bloody beautiful Pinot Noir and a bargain at $30.
