Shipping Information

Delivery & Returns

On all orders under $200. For deliveries within NSW a shipping fee of $11 is added to the order. For deliveries outside NSW a shipping fee of $16.50 is added to the order.

Our delivery partners are Shippit who may or may not use a third party to complete deliveries if they are unable to complete the delivery themselves in a timely fashion. Our winery partners may also use Australia Post to deliver directly from the winery to you, this may take longer than our delivery partners.

Our delivery timings are listed below; if the region you live in is not listed please ask us to quote you a delivery time-frame.

NSW Metro – 3 to 4 business days

NSW Regional – 4 to 5 business days

Victoria Metro – 3 to 5 business days

Victoria Regional – 5 to 6 business days

Queensland Metro – 3 to 5 business days

SA Metro – 4 business days

Tasmania Metro – 4 to 5 business days

On occasion, due to unforeseen weather events (such as continued periods over 30 degrees Celsius), your order may be held until it is possible to deliver your wine in optimum condition. If you wish for your wine to be delivered regardless of weather events, then we will act according to your wishes but will not guarantee or be responsible for the delivered condition of the wine.

Actual delivery

Normal delivery will occur between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. We will deliver to home addresses but our preference is to deliver to business addresses in order to ensure an adult is present to take delivery. If no one is present at the delivery address the wine will not be left unattended. If delivery fails please contact us to coordinate your collection from our delivery partner’s depot.

Community Wines will not deliver wines to anyone less than 18 years of age. If there is any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, our delivery partners are obliged to request some form of photographic ID. If the recipient is unable to produce appropriate ID then the delivery driver will be unable to leave the wine.

What happens if I enter the wrong address?

Community Wines cannot be held responsible for deliveries to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by customers.

If the address is incorrect and the delivery is made, the customer assumes responsibility for the entire purchase.

If the address is incorrect and/or the delivery is refused or unable to be completed, then the order will be returned to our delivery partners’ depot. At this time we will coordinate with you to collect the order from the depot. Any request for re-delivery may incur further delivery charges.

If the address is incorrect and the delivery is refused or unable to be completed and the customer chooses no re-delivery then a handling charge and all applicable freight charges will be deducted from any refund made. To avoid these costs, we recommend that you double check your address details to ensure that all information provided is correct and in full.

Returns

If you are not satisfied with a wine purchased from Community Wines, then we are more than happy to provide you with a full refund for purchases of the relevant wine by you.

Just let us know that you are not satisfied with the wine within 3 months of buying the wine, and we’ll refund or credit you in full an amount equal to the value of your remaining unopened bottles plus one opened bottle only. All refunds are processed within 7 days of your notification.

Risk of damage, loss or deterioration to products passes to the buyer upon delivery and therefore no refunds are offered for products that are damaged after delivery.
