Bass Line GSM, a Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre blend made by Stuart Bourne in the Barossa Valley. He has outdone himself, it is intense in colour...purple to black with an array of aromas, bramble, blackberries, fruitcake, chocolate, mocha and vanilla.
The palate is as good as the nose if not better! Blueberries, blackberries, vanilla then black cherry. Tongue coating fine tannins create this wonderful silky texture. Acid pops right at the end. What a bloody lovely wine. Great for winter, would match perfectly anything rich and fatty.
