I tasted this wine and my first response was F*** that is amazing.
Nebbiolo made in the traditional fashion is great but unless it is older than ten years old, you tend to encounter massive tannins which can make the experience less than pleasing. One reason why I do not drink a lot of Nebbiolo.
But this wine is different, made to be consumed young, the style of this wine promotes rich fruit forward flavours that almost envelope the palate and leave little to no room for tannins. All I got was rasberries and cherries and dare I say it hints of ribena juice, but the tannins and acids were so well integrated I went back for another glass or three!
Do yourself a favour and grab some of this wine, it might help you fall in love with Nebbiolo.
