The Fromm La Strada Chardonnay has a wonderful nose of stone fruit, hints of brioche, nuts, citrus and guava. The palate is without exaggeration, effing amazing! Completely structured and focused, the flavours are dedicated to stone fruit...fleshy white and yellow peaches. Totally in balance, this is a great wine that begs for another glass. Twelve months on 20% new oak and amazingly it undergoes 100% natural malolactic ferment but somehow still leaves enough acid to wash the palate. Ripe and generous, stylistically this is very similar to a Villages level Puligny Montrachet.
