A perfect example of why Ken Helm is a Master of Riesling. I got a look at the 2018 vintage at the winery back in August, and it was brilliant then. If the 2017 tasted yesterday is anything to go by then the 2018 will be phenomenal. The nose is powerful, citrus and blossom leading into crunchy green apples and a clear path of lime through the middle. No searing acid, this is a dry wine that it is all about the fruit. Soft textures clean the palate.
