Merlot done differently, this would rate as one of the best Merlots I have had...ever. Using carbonic maceration the winemakers have created a completely different wine, this seems to remove any/all tannins and acids are almost negligible. Producing an aromatic nose of blue fruit, bramble and herbs. The palate is gorgeous, with a soft silky supple texture...mouthfilling, delivering blackberries and raspberries. You would not think you were drinking Merlot.
