The 2017 vintage of Sailor Seeks Horse Pinot Noir is the best vintage produced so far.
Black cherries brambles and spice on the nose, more opulent notes than 2016. Opulent, round and textured, it is an experience rather than a mouthful of wine. Rich fruit across the palate mainly plums and black cherries but hints of sour cherries also. Acid cleanses the palate, nothing more. Tannins are slightly more noticeable than 2016, but this adds structure. What ever you do hide some for a few years, you will be tempted to drink this wine way too young.
