In my humble opinion, this is the best Rosé produced in Australia done in the Provencal style, full of flavour but dry as a bone. I would be hard pressed to find another Rosé that comes close.
Wine made well every time is a hallmark of Pete Schell, this is no exception. An aromatic nose presenting wafts of Rose petals and rosewater – reminiscent of Turkish Delight. 2018 produced a fuller bodied style of Rosé. The palate has lifted red fruit and red berries everywhere backed by floral notes and hints of Grenadine, culminating in a dry finish. It is a very well made extremely easy to drink wine. A combination of Grenache, Cinsault, Mataro and Ugni Blanc.
